Abstract

|
This study was conducted to contribute to the expansion of activity areas of nurses in the field of health promotion services whose importance are increasing day by day.
To achieve such goals the writer analized the social values of health promotion services through the method of literature review and held workshops five times with the research team to develop a new program model applicable in health centers and industry.
As a conclusion, we recommended the following roles of nurses to be reevaluted and reinforced :
1. Roles as advertizers of the importance of keeping positive health, its social diffusion, and making social environments supporting it.
2. Roles of intervention to change life-styles into positive, active, and client-centered ones.
3. Roles of communicators, planners, and managers for the contribution to the maximization of team efficiency with a view to reducing health risk and preventing health threat.
